These covenants include the counsel to Emma Smith recorded in the Doctrine and Covenants to \u201clay aside the things of this world, and seek for the things of a better\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.churchofjesuschrist.org\/study\/scriptures\/dc-testament\/dc\/25.10?lang=eng#p10\">D&amp;C 25:10<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" id=\"p12\">I am dedicated to that charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" id=\"p12\">The path, straight and narrow, was marked by Jesus Christ. Isaiah called it the \u201chighway \u2026 of holiness\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.churchofjesuschrist.org\/study\/scriptures\/ot\/isa\/35.8?lang=eng#p8\">Isa. 35:8<\/a>). I testify to you today that the Lord has trusted the women of this church with most-sacred works on the path to perfection. \u2013 <em>Elaine L.
