As we focus on Christ, we can hush our fears, as Alma’s people did in Helam.¹⁶ As a threatening army gathered, those faithful disciples of Christ demonstrated poise. Elder David A. Bednar has taught: “Alma counseled the believers to remember the Lord and the deliverance only He could bestow (see 2 Nephi 2:8).
