In our preparation for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, I provide a vital, comforting note for the faithful taken from the Old Testament prophet Amos: “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, until he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”11 – Christoffel Golden, “Preparing for the Second Coming,” Ensign (CR) November 2021
We are distinguished as a Church to be led by prophets, seers, and revelators called of God for this time. I promise that as you listen and follow their counsel, you will never be led astray. Never! We live in a time when we are “tossed to and fro,”18 when spirituality, decency, integrity, and respect are […]
Sometimes we mistakenly think that we can feel God’s love only after we have followed the iron rod and partaken of the fruit. God’s love, however, not only is received by those who come to the tree but is the very power that motivates us to seek that tree. – Susan H. Porter, “God’s Love: The Most Joyous to the Soul,” […]
To become a better follower of the Savior Jesus Christ is a lifelong journey, and we are all in different stages, moving at a different pace. We must keep in mind that this is not a competition, and we are here to love and help each other. We need to be acting in order to […]
Covenant promises and blessings are possible only because of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He invites us to look to Him,13 come unto Him,14 learn of Him,15 and bind ourselves to Him16 through the covenants and ordinances of His restored gospel. I testify and promise that honoring covenants arms us with righteousness and with the power of God in great […]

Individually, Latter-day Saints participate in many of them. We see these works as a manifestation of the eternal truth that “the Spirit […]
Regardless of whether we start in abundant or difficult circumstances, we will realize our ultimate potential only when we make God our partner. – Clark G. Gilbert, “Becoming More in Christ: The Parable of the Slope,” Ensign (CR) November 2021
In acknowledging that God loves us perfectly, we each might ask, “How well do I love God? Can He rely on my love as I rely on His?” Would it not be a worthy aspiration to live so that God can love us not just in spite of our failings but also because of what we are becoming? Oh, […]
Mountain climbers commonly refer to altitudes above 8,000 meters as the “death zone” because at those heights there is not enough oxygen to sustain life. There is a spiritual equivalent to the death zone. If we spend too much time in faithless places, seemingly well-intended voices deprive us of the spiritual oxygen we need. – David […]
Would you like to know if Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and if the Book of Mormon is scripture sent from God? Then put it to the test. Read the Book of Mormon, and near its close you will find a promise that is given to everyone who reads that volume; and this […]
